Rom. 8:31 ¶ What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us? The verse prompts some questions. Who is God for? What does His being for us do for us? Noah Gen. 15:1 ¶ After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, Deut. 1:30 'The LORD your God who goes before you will Himself fight on your behalf, just as He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, Josh. 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Is. 41:10 'Do not fear, for I am with you; John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, John 10:28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 1John 3:20 in whatever our heart condemns us; for God is greater than our heart and knows all things. 1John 4:4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 1John 3:9 No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1Pet. 1:23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. James 1:18 In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures. Eph. 1:13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, Col. 1:5 because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel |
