From Knowledge of Our Father

Psa 100:3 = Know that the LORD is God! It is he that made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Jer 15:16 = Thy words were found, and I ate them, and thy words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart; for I am called by thy name, O LORD, God of hosts.

Psa 4:7 Thou hast put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound.

Psa 89:15 = Blessed are the people who know the festal shout, who walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance,
Psa 89:16 who exult in thy name all the day, and extol thy righteousness.

Psa 97:12 Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous, and give thanks to his holy name!
Psa 98:1 = O sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have gotten him victory.
Psa 98:2 = The LORD has made known his victory, he has revealed his vindication in the sight of the nations.

Joh 17:13 But now I am coming to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
Joh 17:14 = I have given them thy word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Joh 17:15 = I do not pray that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from the evil one.
Joh 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Joh 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; thy word is truth.

From Keeping the Law

Psa 119:16 I will delight in thy statutes; I will not forget thy word.

Psa 19:8 = the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
Psa 19:9 the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever; the ordinances of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether.
Psa 32:11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!
Psa 33:1 Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright.

Psa 100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!

Psa 112:1 Praise the LORD. Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments!

From Faith

Psa 28:7 = The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
Psa 33:21 Yea, our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name.

Mat 25:21 = His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.'
Mat 25:22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, 'Master, you delivered to me two talents; here I have made two talents more.'
Mat 25:23 = His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.'

Act 16:34 = Then he brought them up into his house, and set food before them; and he rejoiced with all his household that he had believed in God.

1Pe 1:8 = Without having seen him you love him; though you do not now see him you believe in him and rejoice with unutterable and exalted joy.
1Pe 1:9 As the outcome of your faith you obtain the salvation of your souls.

From Tithes and Offerings

Deu 12:18 = but you shall eat them [tithe] before the LORD your God in the place which the LORD your God will choose, you and your son and your daughter, your manservant and your maidservant, and the Levite who is within your towns; and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God in all that you undertake.
Neh 12:43 = And they offered great sacrifices that day and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; the women and children also rejoiced. And the joy of Jerusalem was heard afar off.

Jer 33:11 = the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing, as they bring thank offerings to the house of the LORD: 'Give thanks to the LORD of hosts, for the LORD is good, for his steadfast love endures for ever!' For I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the LORD.

For Our Father’s Favor

Psa 30:5 = For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
Psa 30:11 = Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou hast loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,
Psa 30:12 that my soul may praise thee and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to thee for ever.

Ecc 2:26 For to the man who pleases him God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy; but to the sinner he gives the work of gathering and heaping, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

Joe 2:23 = "Be glad, O sons of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD, your God; for he has given the early rain for your vindication, he has poured down for you abundant rain, the early and the latter rain, as before.

Joh 16:27 = for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from the Father.

For Answers to Prayer

Psa 20:5 = May we shout for joy over your victory, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the LORD fulfil all your petitions!

Joh 16:24 Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

From Abiding in Jesus

Joh 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
Joh 15:8 = By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples.
Joh 15:9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love.
Joh 15:10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.

Joh 16:33 = I have said this to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

For Salvation

1Sa 2:1 = Hannah also prayed and said, "My heart exults in the LORD; my strength is exalted in the LORD. My mouth derides my enemies, because I rejoice in thy salvation.

Job 33:26 = then man prays to God, and he accepts him, he comes into his presence with joy. He recounts to men his salvation,
Job 33:27 and he sings before men, and says: 'I sinned and perverted what was right, and it was not requited to me.
Job 33:28 He has redeemed my soul from going down into the Pit, and my life shall see the light.'
Job 33:29 "Behold, God does all these things, twice, three times, with a man,
Job 33:30 = to bring back his soul from the Pit, that he may see the light of life.

Psa 2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, with trembling
Psa 2:12 = kiss his feet, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way; for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Psa 5:11 = But let all who take refuge in thee rejoice, let them ever sing for joy; and do thou defend them, that those who love thy name may exult in thee.
Psa 40:16 But may all who seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; may those who love thy salvation say continually, "Great is the LORD!"

Isa 12:2 "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation."
Isa 12:3 = With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

Isa 55:12 "For you shall go out in joy, and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Isa 61:10 = I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Luk 1:46 = And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord,
Luk 1:47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
Luk 1:48 = for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed;
Luk 1:49 for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
Luk 1:50 = And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation.
Luk 1:51 = He has shown strength with his arm, he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts,

Luk 1:53 = he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away.
Luk 1:54 = He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy,
Luk 1:55 = as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity for ever."

Luk 2:10 = And the angel said to them, "Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people;
Luk 2:11 = for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Luk 10:20 = Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

Rom 5:2 = Through him we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God.

From Being in Our Father’s Presence

Psa 16:11 = Thou dost show me the path of life; in thy presence there is fulness of joy, in thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.

From Strength from the Lord

Neh 8:10 = Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

From Sowing Tears and Reaping Reward

Psa 126:5 = May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy!
Psa 126:6 He that goes forth weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

Luk 6:21 = "Blessed are you that hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. "Blessed are you that weep now, for you shall laugh.
Luk 6:22 = "Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude you and revile you, and cast out your name as evil, on account of the Son of man!
Luk 6:23 = Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets.

Joh 16:21 When a woman is in travail she has sorrow, because her hour has come; but when she is delivered of the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a child is born into the world.
Joh 16:22 = So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.

Rom 5:3 = More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Rom 5:4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,
Rom 5:5 = and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us.

2Co 6:10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

2Co 8:2 = for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of liberality on their part.

Jam 1:2 Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials,
Jam 1:3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
Jam 1:4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

1Pe 4:13 = But rejoice in so far as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.

From Repentence

Luk 15:10 Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

Isa 35:10 = And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Isa 51:11 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Gift of the Spirit

Act 8:39 = And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught up Philip; and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing.

Act 13:52 = And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

Rom 14:17 = For the kingdom of God is not food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit;

Rom 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Gal 5:22 = But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 = And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Gal 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Eph 5:18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit,

Col 1:11 = May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy,
Col 1:12 = giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

1Th 1:6 And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you received the word in much affliction, with joy inspired by the Holy Spirit;
1Th 1:7 so that you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia.

Conclusion

Phi 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.

1Th 5:16 Rejoice always,
1Th 5:17 = pray constantly,
1Th 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1Th 5:19 = Do not quench the Spirit,
1Th 5:20 = do not despise prophesying,
1Th 5:21 = but test everything; hold fast what is good,
