Baptism of Spirit
[Mat 3:11] "I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
[Joh 1:33] I would not have known him, except that the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
New Spirit
[Eze 36:26] I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of
flesh.
[Eze 11:19] I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.
[Deu 30:6] The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.
[Deu 10:16] Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer.
[Jer 24:7] I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.
[Zep 3:9] "Then will I purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the name of the LORD and serve him shoulder to shoulder.
[Psa 51:10] Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
[Jer 31:33] "This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. "I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
Eze 18:31 = Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel?
[Eph 4:22] You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
[Jer 32:39] I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them.
Rom 7:6 = But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.
2Co 3:6 = He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant-- not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
[Rom 8:2] because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
God Pours Out His Spirit
Isa 44:3 = For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.
Joe 2:28 = "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
[Act 21:9] He had four unmarried daughters who prophesied.
[Joh 7:39] By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.
Joe 2:29 = Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
Joe 2:30 = I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.
Joe 2:31 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.
Joe 2:32 = And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the survivors whom the LORD calls.
Spirit Cleanses
[Eze 36:25] I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.
Isa 4:4 The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of and a spirit of fire.
Heb 9:14 = How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
[1Pe 3:18] For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,
God Puts His Spirit into Us
[Eze 36:27] And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
Rom 8:15 = For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."
Rom 8:16 = The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
1Co 2:12 = We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
1Co 2:13 = This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.
1Co 2:14 = The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Co 6:19 = Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
1Co 6:20 = you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
Gal 3:2 = I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?
Access to the Father by One Spirit
Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
1Co 12:7 = Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
1Co 12:8 = To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit,
1Co 12:9 = to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit,
1Co 12:10 = to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.
1Co 12:11 = All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.
Eph 4:4 = There is one body and one Spirit-- just as you were called to one hope when you were called--
Eph 4:5 = one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
Eph 4:6 = one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
[Rom 12:5] so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Phi 1:27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel
Phi 1:28 = without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved-- and that by God.
1Co 12:13 = For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free-- and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
Taught by the Spirit
[Isa 54:13] All your sons will be taught by the LORD, and great will be your children’s peace.

Changed by Spirit
1Sa 10:6 = The Spirit of the LORD will come upon you in power, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person.
Act 2:4 = All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
[Num 11:25] Then the LORD came down in the cloud and spoke with him, and he took of the Spirit that was on him and put the Spirit on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied, but they did not do so again.
2Co 3:18 = And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Born of the Spirit
Joh 3:5 = Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
Joh 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
Act 10:44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.
Act 10:45 The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles.
Act 10:46 For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said,

Act 11:15 = "As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.
Act 11:16 = Then I remembered what the Lord had said: ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
Tit 3:5 = he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,
Tit 3:6 = whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior,
Tit 3:7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
Power from on High
Luk 24:49 = I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."
Jdg 14:6 = The Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power so that he tore the lion apart with his bare hands as he might have torn a young goat. But he told neither his father nor his mother what he had done.
1Sa 10:10 = When they arrived at Gibeah, a procession of prophets met him; the Spirit of God came upon him in power, and he joined in their prophesying.
Isa 11:2 = The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him-- the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD--
Mic 3:8 = But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, to Israel his sin.
Luk 1:17 = And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous-- to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."
Luk 4:14 = Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside.
Luk 4:15 = He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.
Luk 4:16 = He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read.
Luk 4:17 The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
Luk 4:18 = "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed,
Act 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Act 10:38 = how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
Rom 1:4 = and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Rom 15:19 = by the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.
Eph 3:16 = I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
Eph 3:17 = so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
Eph 3:18 = may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
Eph 3:19 = and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Eph 3:20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
2Ti 1:7 = For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
Blessed by the Lord
[Rom 10:12] For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-- the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
Psa 32:2 = Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.
Gal 3:14 = He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
[Mat 5:11] "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
1Pe 4:14 = If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
Tithe Related
Mal 3:10 Bring the (1) whole tithe into (2) the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of (3) heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.
