Watch Out For
Scoffers
2Pe 3:3 = First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.
Rom 1:29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,
Rom 1:30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;
Rom 1:31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
Rom 1:32 Although they know Gods righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
2Pe 3:4 = They will say, "Where is this coming he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation."
The Man of Lawlessness
2Th 2:1 = Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers,
2Th 2:2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come.
2Th 2:3 = Dont let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.
2Th 2:4 = He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in Gods temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
2Th 2:5 Dont you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things?
2Th 2:6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time.
2Th 2:7 = For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.
2Th 2:8 = And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.
2Th 2:9 = The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders,
2Th 2:10 = and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
2Th 2:11 = For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie
2Th 2:12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
2 Pet 2:1But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves.
Dan 7:25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.
Rev 13:11 Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.
Slaves to Evil
Mat 25:24 "Then the man who had received the one talent came. Master, he said, I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.
Mat 25:25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.
Mat 25:26 "His master replied, You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed?
Mat 25:27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.
2Pe 2:18 = For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error.
2Pe 2:19 = They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity-- for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.
2Th 1:8 = He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
2Th 1:9 = They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power
Pay Attention, Watch
Mat 24:38 = For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
Mat 24:39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
Mat 24:42 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
Mat 24:44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
Luk 12:38 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night.
Luk 12:39 = But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.
Luk 12:40 = You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."
Luk 17:26 = "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man.
Luk 17:27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:28 = "It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
Luk 17:29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:30 = "It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
Luk 17:31 = On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.
Luk 17:32 = Remember Lots wife!
Luk 17:33 = Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
Luk 21:33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Luk 21:34 = "Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap.
2Pe 1:16 We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
2Pe 1:17 = For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."
2Pe 1:18 = We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.
2Pe 1:19 = And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
2Th 1:10 on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.
1Th 5:2 = for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
1Th 5:3 = While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
1Th 5:4 = But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.
1Th 5:5 = You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.
1Th 5:6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled.
1Th 5:7 = For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.
1Th 5:8 = But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
1Th 5:9 = For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Th 5:10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.
1Th 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Do Not Be Deceived
Mat 24:4 = Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you.
Mat 24:5 = For many will come in my name, claiming, I am the Christ, and will deceive many.
Mat 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
Mat 24:7 = Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
Mat 24:9 = "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
Mat 24:10 = At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,
Mat 24:11 = and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
Mat 24:12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,
Mat 24:13 = but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
Mat 24:14 = And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
The Lord Prepares Us
1Co 1:7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.
1Co 1:8 = He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Co 1:9 = God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.
1Th 3:12 May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.
1Th 3:13 = May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.
2Th 3:5 = May the Lord direct your hearts into Gods love and Christs perseverance.
1 John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Rev 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,
1Th 5:23 = May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Th 5:24 = The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.
Stand Firm
Phi 3:20 = But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Phi 3:21 = who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
Phi 4:1 = Therefore, my brothers, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, that is how you should stand firm in the Lord, dear friends!
2Th 2:13 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.
2Th 2:14 He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Th 2:15 = So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.
2Th 2:16 = May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope,
2Th 2:17 encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
2Th 1:5 = All this is evidence that Gods judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.
2Th 1:6 = God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you
2Th 1:7 = and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.
2Th 1:8 = He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

Encourage One Another
Mat 24:27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Mat 24:28 = Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
Mat 24:29 = "Immediately after the distress of those days "the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
Mat 24:30 = "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 = And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
Mat 16:27 = For the Son of Man is going to come in his Fathers glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.
Mat 16:28 = I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."
Mat 17:1 = After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
Mat 17:2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.
Mat 17:3 = Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.
Mat 17:4 Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters-- one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."
Mat 17:5 = While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!"
Joh 14:3 = And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
Joh 14:4 You know the way to the place where I am going."
1Th 4:16 = For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
1Th 4:17 = After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
1Th 4:18 Therefore encourage each other with these words.
Walk the Walk
Mat 25:20 The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. Master, he said, you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.
Mat 25:21 = "His master replied, Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your masters happiness!
Mat 25:22 "The man with the two talents also came. Master, he said, you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.
Mat 25:23 = "His master replied, Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your masters happiness!
Mat 25:24 "Then the man who had received the one talent came. Master, he said, I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.
Phi 4:5 = Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
Phi 4:6 = Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Phi 4:7 = And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Phi 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
Col 3:4 = When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Col 3:5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
Col 3:6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
1Ti 6:11 = But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
1Ti 6:12 = Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
1Ti 6:13 = In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you
1Ti 6:14 = to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
1Ti 6:15 = which God will bring about in his own time-- God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
1Ti 6:16 = who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.
The Armor of God
Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Eph 6:11 = Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devils schemes.
Eph 6:12 = For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Eph 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Eph 6:14 = Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
Eph 6:15 = and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
Eph 6:16 = In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Eph 6:17 = Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Eph 6:18 = And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
Victory in Christ
John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
1 John 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Eph 2:13 = But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14 = For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,
Eph 2:15 = by abolishing in his flesh the law [of sin and death] with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace,
Eph 2:16 = and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
Col 1:20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
Heb 12:6 because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."
Rom 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

1 John 4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
